The most exciting medium, of course, is movies. The power and memories that movies can evoke is wonderful BUT even the best scenes can often go on for too long and became boring after a while. They are often too dark or too light so they can't be seen properly at all.
Editing your movies means that all the parts you don't like can be removed, the too long bits can be shortened, the too dark bits can be lightened etc etc.
The aim is to make your home movies exciting, easy to view and memorable by straight editing, voiceovers or setting them to music.
